VIDA -
Voice. Interoperability. Data
= Access.

What is a VIDA
unified platform?
HARRIS has designed
all its voice, data and interoperability solutions onto a single
platform architecture. It's one IT network
for
administration, management and maintenance.
The world of RF and IT have converged...
lowering cost, increasing capacity and providing unprecedented
upgradeability.
"The market has shifted. No longer are agencies buying
radios
to talk...
they're buying devices that give them access to
their
network
for voice, data and video. Devices include desktop
computers, laptops, PDAs, VoIP phones, data devices and radios,
and IT demands that it's all on a single network,"
Dr. John Vaughan, Vice President and General Manager of M/A-COM.
