Welcome to RACOM
Thank you
for visiting our website and reading our newsletters. We
understand the value of your time and hope you find our
electronic communications informative and
engaging. Welcome to the RACOM family!
For those
of you who are unfamiliar with us, RACOM (a contraction for
‘Radio Communications’) is a family company founded by my
father, Gregg Miller, in 1972. We’re headquartered in
Marshalltown, Iowa and have 10 other locations and serve 5
Midwestern states with wireless voice, data and
video solutions for ‘critical communicators’ – primarily the
public safety, public service and utility markets.
Know that
when dealing with RACOM to help meet your communications
needs, you’re dealing with a group of dedicated,
trained and trustworthy employees, committed to YOUR success
and living our core
values:
Technical Leadership
Since our
company’s founding we have strived to search out, acquire
and test the best available equipment prior to ever
recommending it you. We're focused much more on
meeting customer
needs rather than commitments to individual vendors. If there is communications
technology available that’s meets your and our high standards for
performance, makes you safer, and/or increases your
productivity, count on us to be one of the first to be
testing it and bringing it to you.
Service Excellence
We are thought of
as “The 911 to the 911…” When
critical first responders have communication issues,
they call RACOM for immediate response. Every service
call, is answered by the local friendly voice of a RACOM
employee, 24x7x365. Customer service calls are
never answered by an answering service or voicemail.
You can
expect technical service to be of
the highest quality available. For example, our vehicle installation
work is always guaranteed for the life of the vehicle.
Our Word is Our Bond
Too often
in today’s world, suppliers point their fingers or reply, “that’s not my
fault…” You won’t hear that from us. Our job is to serve you and fix your issue.
Expect us
to make fair commitments and live up to and beyond them
– even when it’s not easy to do so.
Thank you
again for allowing us to be a part of your day! You can
always feel free to contact me with any idea, issue or
opportunity.
