Job Details

We have a current opening for a full-time Contract Manager. Maintaining RACOM's customer systems requires teams of engineers and technicians, both internal and 3rd party, as well as other support staff. The Contract Manager will work directly with these teams to ensure compliance of contractual obligations as well as customer expectations. The Contract Manager will regularly communicate with customers, ensure on-time service delivery, manage customer and internal reporting and strive for continual process improvement.

Duties:

1. Create new maintenance contracts with support from internal teams

2. Conform legacy contracts to standardized formats

3. Manage scope of work compliance

4. Coordinate invoicing for above-contract parts and services

5. Track and maintain company contracts, including customer covered equipment through repair or replacement and warranty expiration of added equipment, and vendor notices

6. Identify risk in accordance with company polices

7. Ensure software updates are delivered on a regular schedule

8. Proactively track product and software obsolescence; advise end-of-life equipment remediation

9. Annual evaluation and reporting of servicer performance

10. Annual evaluation and reporting contract P&L performance

11. System update support

12. Respond to change productively and handle other duties as required

13. Travel to RACOM locations throughout Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois and Minnesota as well as some travel to customer sites is required.

Requirements

1. Previous experience and familiarity with maintenance contracts

2. Knowledge of contracting principles and general corporate business practices

3. Detail oriented with solid organizational skills

4. Excellent verbal and written communication skill

5. Understanding of LMR industry terms (training provided)

6. Basic understanding of LMR products and functions (training provided)

7. Confidence to make decisions on the best interests of all stakeholders

8. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (including Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint)
