Job Details
We have a current opening for a full-time Installation Technician in our Dubuque, IA location. The employee that we are looking for must be dedicated with excellent troubleshooting & diagnostic skills to deliver top rated service to our customers.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Install communications and associated electronic equipment and wiring per specifications and operational procedures
- Perform automotive interior/exterior strip down and reassembly
- Perform variety of DC terminations/connections
- Perform GPS & RF installations
- Respond promptly to customer needs in a positive, supportive and timely manner
- Communicate job progress to supervisor & customer
- Some travel is required, up to 25% of time
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Requires comprehensive automotive 12/24VDC or electrical/electronics experience
- Must have the ability to correctly disassemble and reassemble customer vehicle panels and perform installations
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to work in a team environment
- Familiar with Microsoft Office programs
- High level of integrity with strong emphasis on making and meeting commitments
- Ability to maintain safe and clean work environment
- Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs
- Must possess a valid driver license & clean driving record
- High school degree or equivalent
- Technical schooling and any electrical certifications is a plus
