Ron joined RACOM in May 2018, and is the Vice President and General Manager of our Northwest Region. Ron is headquartered in Spokane, WA and his role includes growing RACOM and dealer business in the states of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and Alaska. He also is the RACOM project manager managing the implementation of the new Washington State Department of Transportation statewide Harris P25 system.
Prior to joining RACOM, Ron worked for Harris Public Safety & Professional Communications and predecessor companies for nearly 30 years. He held various leadership positions for Harris, including Director of Engineering, Director of System Engineering, and most recently led the Bids and Proposals team.
Ron has a BSEE from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, IN, and an MBA from Duke University Fuqua School of Business. Ron enjoys leading and working together as a team, competing for new business, and seeing things come together in the field. Ron, his wife Paula, and son Jack enjoy outdoor activities and are looking forward to their new adventure in Washington.
